Lexus GS 460 2008 review.


Formerly known as the GS 430, for 2008 Lexus’ midsize sport sedan adopts a larger engine, mildly revised styling and a new name: the GS 460. The upsized V-8 comes from the brand’s flagship LS 460; in the GS, it makes 342 horsepower. Both models use an eight-speed automatic. Competitors include the BMW 550i, Mercedes-Benz E550, Cadillac STS V-8 and the forthcoming Jaguar XF. (more…)

Jeep 8 Sarge 2008 review.

With its unique wartime heritage, Jeep has always had a hard-man image. Yet even the Wrangler – the US firm’s most rugged offering – has been growing increasingly soft of late. Volkswagen Golf VI 2008 review.

Following the internet’s unofficial, unscheduled and probably unwanted (at least by Volkswagen) reveal of the sixth-generation Golf this week, VW has thrown its cards on the table and revealed its hand. Along with high-res images, VW has revealed that the new Golf will launch this October in Europe and then find its way to markets in Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. (more…)
