In the latest phase of Euro NCAP safety tests the all-new Ford Kuga compact crossover has achieved the best combination of star ratings, placing the car at the top of the table in the Euro NCAP Small Off-road 4×4 group. Awarded the maximum five stars for Adult Occupant Protection, this rating is enhanced by four stars for Child Occupant Protection and three stars for Pedestrian Protection. The Ford Ka has been a prime example that the Blue Oval can be successful at making little cars, even if they kind of look like basketball shoes. After 12 years of service, it’s time to shake things up a bit. The Focus C-MAX was launched in 2003 to much acclaim. It gave rise to the larger S-MAX, a vehicle that has in turn influenced the new C-MAX.

Small cars are having a moment. Ford of Europe unveiled the Ford Fiesta at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show and they’re anticipating a warm reception from a new generation of customers. Designed and developed in Europe, Ford Fiesta will be on sale in Europe, Asia, South Africa, Australia and the Americas between 2008 and 2010.
